In Korean Buddhism, end of the winter retreat falls on lunar month 1, day 15. The summer retreat runs from lunar 4/15 to 7/15; the winter retreat runs from 10/15 to 1/15 of the following lunar year. Check each temple’s announcements for its actual ceremonies.
