Earth Day
A day to care for the planet we share.
How did it begin?
Earth Day began on April 22, 1970, as a civic movement in the United States calling for environmental protection. In 2009, the UN General Assembly also designated that date as International Mother Earth Day to emphasize the importance of the planet’s environment.
