Minor Snow
Dates specified for each year
A solar term recalling early-winter cold and thin ice.
How did it begin?
Between Start of Winter and Major Snow, it was regarded as the time when thin ice forms and the ground begins to freeze. With warm sunshine still lingering, it was also called Sochun, meaning little spring.
