Apple and Apology Day
A day for sharing apples and offering apologies.
How did it begin?
In 2002, a Korean national coalition against school violence designated October 24 as Apple Day to encourage reconciliation. The campaign uses apples to convey apologies, a pun on the Korean word sagwa.
