Unofficial observance
Ipchun Prayers
Dates specified for each year
Buddhist prayers offered at Ipchun, the beginning-of-spring solar term.
How did it begin?
Temples offer these prayers around Ipchun. The prayer observance is listed separately from the solar term itself. This calendar uses the Ipchun date in Korean Standard Time as a reference; actual prayer periods and times depend on each temple.
