Last Day of the Lunar Month
Dates specified for each year
The last day of each month in the Korean lunar calendar.
How did it begin?
Geumeum is a Korean word for the last day of a lunar month. It is day 29 in a 29-day month and day 30 in a 30-day month. This calendar follows the Korean lunar calendar, including leap months. It marks the end of the calendar month, not the exact astronomical moment of the new moon.
