Chobok
Dates specified for each year
A traditional hot-weather day for sharing food and resting.
How did it begin?
One of the three Bok days, it is the third gyeong day counting from the summer solstice, including that date if it is a gyeong day. Customs involve preparing food and resting to cope with heat, and its solar-calendar date changes each year.
