절월·일진 기준
Heavenly pardon (天赦)
A favorable day name assigned to each season and given special weight in traditional date selection.
What does it mean?
戊寅 in spring, 甲午 in summer, 戊申 in autumn and 甲子 in winter. A principal auspicious influence in Volume 10, without automatically cancelling month break or four wastes. Stems are ten traditional names such as 甲 and 乙; the twelve branches correspond to zodiac animals such as rat and ox. A day pillar pairs a stem and branch, and solar-term months are divided by solar terms. These traditional conditions contribute to the overall assessment. Favorable conditions are sometimes called virtues; they are considered alongside caution conditions, with the more important rules taking priority. A single condition does not predict personal fortune or the outcome of an activity.
How is it determined?
The day pillar uses the device’s local date and midnight (00:00), compared against solar-term months rather than lunar months. The assessment displays precomputed results using Korean Standard Time solar-term dates for 2020–2050; missing dates are not estimated. This differs from the lunar conversion range, 1000-02-13 through 2050-12-31.
