Son-eomneun Day
Every lunar month: days 9·10·19·20·29·30 (including leap months)
A Korean folk custom used when choosing dates for moving or major events.
How did it begin?
People traditionally believed major undertakings were safe on days without son, spirits thought to cause trouble. These are lunar dates ending in 9 or 0; the belief does not guarantee good fortune.
